HTC ONE vs SAMSUNG GALAXY S4 : CLASH OF THE TITANS

The competition tie between HTC One and Samsung galaxy S4 has made no more room for upcoming apple and nokia device thanks for both the companies for their enough-to-be-boasted features and apps. While , crictics determine the S4 as the greatest smartphone available for the current market but that's not true. The HTC one with impressive Sense 5 has came up a lot.So what if you are planning a next androidphone , could it be SGS4 or the ONE ? We will find out in our next segment.

DISPLAY
This only proves out that even though both are of same height Sgs4 is quite a bit slimmer than the later one.

EDGE : SAMSUNG

MATERIAL
Now , HTC had made a quite a bit of this by petitioning against Samsung around twitter , but most of the people would prefer plastic for the go.

EDGE:---

DIMENSIONS

In case to Screen size SGS4 is a manmoth to HTC ONE's 4.7 inch display but otherwise HTC has more pixels to it than S4. So Quite a bit HTC edges over SGS4.

EDGE - HTC

PROCESSOR

It was very unpleasant to learn that S4 would release two different proccessors for its S4 , but for the first time Octa-core makes it debut.Otherwise Quad-core 1.9 GHz is too powerfull than that of HTC one's 1.7 GHz .

EDGE-SAMSUNG

RAM
Both gives you the same 2 GB to ensure you a smooth android experience.

EDGE- ---

BATTERY

SGS4's 2,600 mAh battery ensures you a long battery life than Htc ONE.

EDGE-SAMSUNG

SOFTWARE

In terms of Software, Samsung galaxy s4 runs on the latest 4.2.2 operating system, ahead of the HTC One.But sooner or later HTC one is too scheduled to get its updates.

EDGE- ---

So , as you can see the results overall Samsung has the main EDGE over HTC ONE . Hope we will able to see many more mind blowing Devices 'round this year.

Samsung Galaxy S4 finally launched in india

Just so we expected the galaxy s4. Samsung has launched it's flagship android samrtphone . Worth about 41000 Rs ($765) and has come to sale. The product was launched on 25th of april in New Delhi.

The pricing and availability comes as a pleasant surprise as Samsung has managed to impress on both fronts. In comparison, the Galaxy S4's main rival HTC One is priced at Rs. 42,990 ($792) and is yet to go on sale despite being announced earlier this month. The model sold in India is the I9500 model that runs on the Samsung Exynos 5 Octa 5410 SoC, with four 1.6GHz Cortex A15 cores and four 1.2GHz Cortex A7 cores packed on a single chip. Along with that it also has the PowerVR SGX 544MP3 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal memory with microSD card slot, 5.0-inch, 1920 x 1080 resolution Super AMOLED display, 13 megapixel camera with 1080p video recording, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, 2,600mAh battery and every other bell and whistle you can imagine.

(Leaked) Samsung Galaxy Note III Specs

Recent rumors reveal  new information regarding Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note III smartphone. The unidentified, thus trusted insider claims the next  Galaxy Note to be Samsung`s most wanted device, with a 5.99” Full HD Super AMOLED display with diamond pixel structure – the same technology that’s been used in Samsung Galaxy S IV.

The device is reported to have
                                                                                   a 13 megapixel camera ,exynos
                                                                                   5 octa-core processor(8 cores)
Mali 350 GPU, with at total of
                                                                                   3 GB of ram!

As for the OS, it’ll of course be the latest version of Android which could be Android 4.3, beautifully integrated with Samsung’s own own Touch-Wiz interface on it but with more smart features. The list of Galaxy S III specs that have been known by far includes:

13 Megapixel Camnera
Exynos 5 Octa Core (8 core)
Mali 450 (8 cores)
3GB RAM
Android 4.2.2 – 4.3
Touch Wiz Nature UX 2.0

The Galaxy Note III will allegedly be the same as the Galaxy Mega 5.8 in size, but with a smaller bezel as similarly to the Galaxy S III / S IV. The device is expected to arrive around August / September and could be announced at IFA 2013 in Berlin. If we look one year back, Samsung announced the Galaxy Note II in Ber

(Exclusive) the Motorola 'Xphone' Specs

x-phone-prototype-630
Don’t get too excited, because these things can be faked, but an uknown device with the name “Google X” just appeared on the AnTuTu benchmark site, as first spotted by Japanese blog Rbmen. The “Google X” device is running Android 5.0.1, with an unknown 1.5 GHz processor, and returned a respectable score of 15479.
We have no way to validate if this is a real benchmark result, but it does raise some interesting points. Early rumors suggested the first “X Phone” would not focus on high-end specs, and said the device would be sold for an extremely low price. An AnTuTu score of 15k is comparable to high-end devices from last year (think GS3 or One X) and it could indicate that this device might sport Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 400 processor that is designed for mainstream phones.
I wouldn’t put too much thought into the final specs of the first “X Phone”, because anything that has been uncovered will probably change. We have previously reported that the “X Phone” brand would spawn an entire family of devices, so this could be the cause of conflicting reports about specific details and specs.
The appearance of Android 5.0.1 is also notable. We know that Google has been working on the next version of Android, codenamed Key Lime Pie, but we don’t know what version number they will assign to it. Rumors and speculation have suggested that Key Lime Pie might become Android 5.0, but it could also end up as Android 4.3 or 4.5. For what it’s worth, we have seen several appearances of Android 5.0.1 in our server logs over the last couple weeks.
Finally, it’s also interesting to see this device labeled as “Google X” instead of “Motorola X.” We have believed that the first “X Phone” would be sold under the Motorola brand, but we also know that this is one of the first devices where Google has had a heavy influence on the design.
Hopefully, more will be revealed at Google IO next month. Some rumors suggest the first “X Phone” and Android 5.0 might have been pushed back till August or later, but we still expect to hear something at Google’s upcoming event.

Flipboard update for android brings magazines and more

FLIPBOARD 2.0 was announced back at the end of March and to the disappointment of Android users, it was initially available only for iOS users. Android users were further teased at the end of April when Flipboard shared details about how well they were doing since the 2.0 app update. At that time they were talking about the record growth, however they did offer a bit of teasing for Android users saying Flipboard 2.0 would be available “very soon.”
fan_1200_750-540x337
We suspect the definition of “very soon” will vary from person to person, however the good news is that the app is now available for download. The big new feature that comes along with this update is the magazine functionality. This basically means users will be able to create a personal magazine. These magazines can be kept private or shared with others and will allow you to collect and save items including articles and images as well as audio and video and then organize that content into magazine form.
Other changes and additions with this update include the ability to login using your Facebook account, content from The Financial Times and a web-based editor for the magazines feature. The editor will be available at editor.flipboard.com  and it will allow users to customize the layout and content of their magazines
Specifically, the web-based editor will allow you to do everything from change the order of stories, photos and videos as well as delete content and reorder the magazines themselves. Users will also have some additional details in terms of sharing. These additional items will include details on how often specific items are being shared. With that, those looking for Flipboard will be able to find the app using this Google Play Store link.

Sony Announces The Xperia ZR: A Tougher, More Waterproof Version Of The Xperia Z (Without The 1080p Screen)

The Xperia Z is a pretty spiffy flagship phone, and tough as well, thanks to its IP55/IP57 Ingress Protection rating. But now there's a more specialized model coming, the Xperia ZR, designed specifically for waterproof functioning in even wetter environments. The new phone is manufactured to the higher IP55/IP58 standard, meaning that it can be safely submersed in 1.5 meters of water for up to 30 minutes.

The Xperia ZR roughly follows the Z's design, getting rid of some of the slim lines and premium materials for the sake of its more waterproof chassis. It looks a lot like the slightly down-market ZL, in fact, with a 10.4mm-thick plastic body. The star of the show is the 13MP rear camera, which is specifically designed for underwater photos and videos with an external camera button. (The sensor is the same one found on the Xperia Z.) The smaller 4.6" screen has the "Reality Display" marketing tag, but is unfortunately only a 720p panel. Four body colors were shown: black, white, pink, and mint.

Other specifications include a 1.5Ghz quad-core Snapdragon Pro processor and 2GB of RAM, and NFC sharing functions were shown in the video. Android 4.1 runs underneath, though the manufacturer skin is the same one Sony has been using for some time. Storage is 8GB in the phone, with MicroSD expanding it up to 32GB. The international GSM model will include LTE bands.

According to the press release, the Xperia ZR will be available in the second quarter. Sony will also launch the SBH50 Bluetooth headset and FM radio, which will pair with the ZR automatically, along with a charging dock and a smartwatch (MN2) which was not shown. Naturally, price was not mentioned.
